Kathleen "Tate" Mulligan is a dedicated Campus Ambassador at Thunderbird School of Global Management, bringing a rich background in international relations, global leadership, and community development. Raised in Dallas, Texas, Tate’s journey into global affairs began with a transformative Rotary Youth Exchange in Argentina, sparking her lifelong commitment to fostering cross-cultural dialogue and sustainable change.
A graduate of Rhodes College with a degree in International Relations and History, Tate was a Bonner Scholar and co-founder of the local chapter of the Food Recovery Network. She has lived and worked in diverse settings, including Belize and Spain, enriching her global perspective and deepening her understanding of international issues.
At Thunderbird, Tate co-founded the Foreign Policy Initiative, focusing on connecting students and professionals interested in diplomacy and global strategy. Beyond her academic pursuits, she owns a strategy and communication consulting firm that works with public-private foundations to develop innovative, long-term solutions for urban development and community-building.
Tate's leadership extends beyond the classroom. She is actively involved in organizations like Serenity High School and Día de Los Muertos in North Texas, where she serves on the board, contributing her expertise to local and global initiatives.
