Preethika Sainam
Biography
Preethika Sainam is a professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU. She teaches quantitative marketing classes that focus on the analytical aspects of the students' experience. Her goal is to help managers understand and apply econometric techniques to improve business decision making. Before moving to Arizona, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, where she taught marketing research and engaged in scholarly research.
Dr. Sainam holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in Quantitative Marketing and a Master's degree in Economics (MS) from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She also has a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her undergraduate degree is from Purdue University, where she was a Dean's Scholar throughout her academic career.
Dr. Sainam's research has been published in several well-known journals, including Harvard Business Review, which is highly regarded by practitioners and managers. Her work has also been featured in other leading academic journals, such as Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, and Journal of the Association for Information Systems.
In her free time, Dr. Sainam enjoys traveling and exploring new culinary experiences with her family.
